When did the synthesis of Urea take place?
The synthesis of Urea took place in the 17th century.

What was the general belief of scientists?
The scientists of the time, believed that organic and inorganic substances where somehow different.

    Who discovered the chemical process?
Friedrich Wohler discovered the chemical process.

What two inorganic elements were mixed?
Potassium cyanate and ammonium sulphate are the inorganic elements that were mixed.

Why it was a great discovery?
At the time it took place, when the scientific believe was that "organic and inorganic matter where made of different things". It proved that they both were made of the same matter, atoms.

  2. —When did the synthesis of Urea take place?
The synthesis of Urea took place in the 19th century, more specifically in 1828.
—What was the general belief of scientists?
Scientist believed that organic compounds were somehow different from inorganic compounds.
    —Who discovered the chemical process?
Friedrich Wohler discovered the chemical process.
—What two inorganic elements were mixed?
The two inorganic elements mixed were potassium cyanate and ammonium sulfate.
—Why it was a great discovery?
It was a great discovery because it broke down the wall between organic compounds and inorganic compounds that existed at that time. It proved that the "building blocks" of all matter (both organic and inorganic) are the same: atoms.

  3. ...When did the synthesis of Urea take place?
The development of the synthesis of urea was held in 1828 , ie during the 19th century
...What was the general belief of scientists?
They believed and asserted that organic compounds are different from the inorganic
    ...Who discovered the chemical process?
    Friedrich Wohler
...What two inorganic elements were mixed?
    Potassium cyanate and ammonium sulfate.
...Why it was a great discovery?
Importance is that achievement is ascertained that the manner in construction of both types of compounds was the same, ie atoms.
Besides the wall that existed between organic and inorganic compounds it is broke

3- Who discovered the chemical process?
Friedrich Wohler discovered the chemical process.

4- What two inorganic elements were mixed?
The inorganic elements that were mixed are potassium cyanate and ammonium sulfate.

5-Why it was a great discovery?
Because it broke down the walls between organic and inorganic substances, and prove that both, organic and inorganic compounds are the same: atoms.

Friedrich Wohler discovered the chemical process of Urea
->What two inorganic elements were mixed?
    Potassium cyanate and ammonium sulphate
->Why it was a great discovery?
It is a great discovery because it showed that organic and inorganic compounds are formed by the same atoms

  6. When did the synthesis of Urea take place?
The discovery was done in 1828

What was the general belief of scientists?
That inorganic and organic compounds were unable to combine

    Who discovered the chemical process?
    Friedrich Wohler

What two inorganic elements were mixed?
    Potassium cyanate and ammonium sulphate

Why it was a great discovery?
It proved that both organic and inorganic compounds have the same building blocks (atoms)

    Potassium cyanate and ammonium sulfate
—Why it was a great discovery?
Its important because he discovered that organic and inorganic compounds are formed by atoms, so they were not a lot of differences.

  8. *When did the synthesis of Urea take place?
The synthesis of urea, took place for the first time in 1828
*What was the general belief of scientists?
Back in those days, the scientists believed that organic and inorganic compounds could not react, because they were different
    *Who discovered the chemical process?
This synthesis was discovered by Friedrich Wohler
*What two inorganic elements were mixed?
To synthesize urea, pottasium cyanate and ammonium sulfate
*Why it was a great discovery?
Because it proved that inorganic and organic compounds were not so different

    It took place in 1828

—What was the general belief of scientists?
That organic compunds could not be synthesized from inorganic compounds.

    —Who discovered the chemical process?
    Friedrich Wohler

—What two inorganic elements were mixed?
    pottasium cyanate and ammonium sulfate

—Why it was a great discovery?

-When did the synthesis of Urea take place?
The synthesis take place in the nineteen century, in the year 1828.
-What was the general belief of scientists?
That organic subtances only came from living things and inorganic substances only came from non-living things and there wasn't a relation between them.
    -Who discovered the chemical process?
    Friederich Wöhler discovered the process
-What two inorganic elements were mixed?
The inorganic elements were potassium cyanate and ammonium sulfate.
-Why it was a great discovery?
It was a great dicovery because it breakes the belife that they had in that time and made people understand everything comes from atoms it doesn't matter if the compounds are organic or not
